We serve a meal the day before Thanksgiving (on Wednesday afternoon). We occasionally need volunteers to prepare food, set up and clean up. Please contact us in early November to find out what we may need. (Not Bread Alone, another meal site in Amherst, and Manna Kitchen in Northampton serve on Thanksgiving and Christmas.)

I believe they take donations Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

We accept non-perishable (and not expired) food items! Donations are welcome between 9AM and 2:30 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays and between 9AM and 6:30 PM on Thursdays. We are also open the third Saturday of the month from 9:30-11:30 AM. If you have questions about what you'd like to donate (or to let us know you're coming), please call!

Unfortunately, we no longer accept furniture. We encourage people to use craigslist, freecycle and facebook's Buy Nothing groups to exchange (or find) furniture. The Salvation Army and Goodwill Stores will accept some furniture (but I don't believe that they can take upholstered things.)
